New England Public School will operate on a 90-minute delayed start. School will begin at 10:00 a.m. There will be no breakfast served and no morning preschool.
There will be NO junior high boys' basketball practice today 12/17/25.
There is a chance of inclement weather Wednesday night. We are currently scheduled to hold exams on Thursday. IF we are required to have a virtual learning day on Thursday, exams will not be administered virtually. In that case, exams for 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 7th periods would be held on Friday instead.
If this occurs, students will not be released before 1:00 PM, unless they are exempt from their exam.

Finals Testing Schedule Information
Here is the schedule for finals testing this week:
Wednesday:
Students will test during periods 1, 3, and 5, followed by 7th hour for regular class time.
There will be no religion release for high school students on Wednesday.
Thursday:
Students will test during periods 2, 4, and 6, followed by 7th hour for regular class time.
Friday:
Students will test during 7th period only. Students may leave after 7th period with parent permission.
We will have a movie/activity available until 1:00 PM for students who remain at school.

The boys’ basketball game originally scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025, has been postponed and rescheduled for January 12.

The lost and found tables are full and will be available to look through during tonight’s concert. Any items not claimed by Friday, Dec. 19 will be donated over Christmas break.
The Christmas Concert scheduled for this evening, December 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM will proceed as planned.

Save the date- Sunday Dec 7th @ 5:30 at New England High School for parents and players. Potluck at 5:30 and Awards to follow with a recap of the '25 Season. New England families are asked to bring Main Dishes and Mott/Regent families are asked to bring salads/desserts.

Hello 8th grade parents,
This is Mr. Upgren, ND Studies teacher.
I apologize for the short notice, but if your child hasn’t mentioned it yet, we will be traveling to Bismarck tomorrow to visit the North Dakota Heritage Center. We will be leaving on the school bus at 8:30 AM and plan to return around 3:10 PM. If we end up running later than expected, students will have their phones to contact you, and the bus driver can arrange a drop-off in Dickinson if needed.
Please make sure your child brings a sack lunch. I’ve also asked them to bring a pencil. Bringing money for the gift shop or coffee shop is optional but recommended.
