All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students have been invited to participate in MathCounts. Your student was given a permission letter to bring home for you to sign. This form is due tomorrow, Tuesday September 24th. All parents must sign and return the form and indicating yes or no for their student. If you have any questions, please contact Shannay Witte. Happy Labor Day! Enjoy the day off from school tomorrow, September 2nd! There are NO 4-5-6 practices of any kind tomorrow. There are NO junior high practices either. JV and varsity football players will be leaving school at 4:30 PM for practice Monday evening. B and C volleyball have practice at 5:30 PM with varsity joining them at 6:00 PM. School pictures AND fall sports pictures will be taken THIS Wednesday, Sept. 4!!Forms are available in the office.

SPORTS PICTURE DAY for 4-5-6 Girls Basketball and 7th, 8th & ABC Volleyball will be Wednesday, September 4. This is the SAME DAY as SCHOOL PICTURES.

New England Yearbook Pre-order

It was wonderful to see all of the kids today! It is always so incredible to see how much they grow and mature over the summer. We hope their first day was as good as ours was! As a reminder, we are no longer a peanut free-facility; however, we are seafood-free. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.

School begins for those in kindergarten through 12th grade tomorrow, Wednesday, August 21, at 8:20 AM. Breakfast is served from 7:45 AM until 8:10 AM. Preschool begins Thursday. There will be a meeting for girls in junior high interested in playing volleyball on Wednesday, August 21, at 3:10 PM. Practice begins Thursday, August 22, at 3:45 PM at the correctional center. 456 GBB practice begins tomorrow after school.

If your family is currently on an established bus route, please expect a phone call from your driver prior to the first day of school regarding approximate times of pick up. The in-town route will not begin until October.

Just a reminder to stop in and meet our Pre-K through Gr. 12 teachers during our Open House tomorrow from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Enjoy a root beer float while you’re here! See you Wednesday!

NEPS is giving away old monitors and keyboards on a first come, first served basis. They are smaller (15") 4:3 aspect ratio monitors. If you would like one, please come to the school during our open house on Wednesday, Aug 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 or during regular business hours and talk to someone at the front office.

All students in grades PreK-12 are invited to the ALL-SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE on Wednesday, August 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You may bring your school supplies and move into your lockers at that time if you so choose. Join us for root beer floats! We look forward to seeing you!

Volleyball practices will be on Monday, August 19, at 9:00 AM & 3:30 PM. Tuesday, August 20, will be at the same times.

Juniors & Seniors who want Dual Credit courses need to complete the registration. DC courses let students take courses for high school & college credit. The counselors will be in school on Aug. 15 & 20. Call Mrs. R. at 701-535-0366 or Mrs. Madler at 701-290-9798 with questions.

Football practice for boys in grades 7-12 begins Monday, August 12. The bus will leave from school at 7:30 am.

Registration will be tomorrow, August 6, from 8 AM to 6 PM. For those students in sports, you must take your impact test if you are in grades 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, or new to the district in any 4-12 grade for sports.

The bus will be leaving from NEHS for FOOTBALL CAMP in Mott on Monday, July 29, at 4:45 PM and on Tuesday, July 30, at 7:15 AM. Please text or call Kristi Madler at 701-290-9798 if your son is riding the bus.
