The girls basketball game scheduled for Saturday, September 25th against Trinity will only be 5th and 6th grade. Start time is still 10:00 AM at New England.
The 4,5,6th grade girls basketball game scheduled for Thursday, September 23rd has been moved to Taylor. The 4th grade team will will only play two quarters.
With the increased numbers associated with Covid in Hettinger County, New England Public School is going to start scanning temperatures again as students enter the building. 4,5,6 girls basketball practice starts tomorrow, Wednesday, August 18th at 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM.
456 GBB pre-season practice will begin, Wednesday, August 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the school. Practice will run on the weekdays at this time and place from 8/18 through 8/26. On Friday, August 27, and Monday, August 30, practice will run from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
NOTICE OF DELAYED START FOR SCHOOL:
School will begin for students in PreK through 12th grade on Monday, August 30, due to delays in construction. Our apologies for any inconveniences this causes. Although this is quite disappointing, it will be worth the short delay. The school board and administration had been optimistic up until today that we would be able to start on time.
We hope to hold an open house after construction has concluded.
Further information regarding any changes in practices or scheduled games will follow as necessary.

Consolidated is sponsoring Movie Night at the football field on Wednesday, August 11, beginning at 6:00 PM with games and music. This event is free and open to the public.
The movie, Raya and the Last Dragon, will begin approximately between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. Bring blankets or chairs for your family to relax upon during the show.
Concessions will be available at the football field.

2021 FFA State Champion Land Judging Team!
Congratulations to our FFA Land Judging Team on a job well done. They earned their 1st place finish at the state land judging event which was held yesterday in Inkster ND.

The football bus leaving from New England, for practices in Mott, is changing to 6:15 AM. The bus will leave New England, for practices in Regent, at 6:30 AM.
The 4-5-6 football meeting will be later this afternoon, Thursday August 5, at 4:30. There will have a quick parent meeting and equipment handout at the field north of school.
The first week of football practice is scheduled for August 5th in Mott. Bus will leave New England at 6:00 AM. Friday, Aug 6th practice in Mott bus will leave New England at 6:00 AM. Saturday, Aug 7th practice in New England starting at 7:30 AM.
The second week of practice: Monday, August 9th in Regent bus will leave New England at 6:15 AM. Tuesday, August 10th in New England at 7:30 AM. Wednesday, August 11th back in Regent bus will leave New England at 6:15 AM. August 12th practice in New England at 7:30 AM. Friday, August 13th practice in Mott bus will leave New England at 6:00 AM. Saturday, August 14th practice in New England at 7:30 AM.
Third week of practice: Monday, August 16th practice in New England at 3:30 PM. Tuesday, August 17th practice in New England at 3:30 PM.
