Sanford Power is officially coming to New England! This is an awesome opportunity for all New England athletes. Sanford Power is not sport specific training, instead it is focused on training well rounded athletes.
Every Monday and Wednesday Sanford Power will be offered in Dickinson and every Tuesday and Thursday it will be offered in New England. Sanford Power will start in Dickinson on June 5th and 7th. The New England sessions will start on June 6th and 8th. It will continue every week after that except for the week of the 4th of July there will be no trainings.
The time in New England for high schoolers is from 7am-8am.
The time for middle schoolers is 8am-9am.
The Dickinson trainings are optional and the athletes would be responsible for their own transportation to Dickinson.
The cost is FREE and the best way to sign up your child is to call 323-1125 to pay and register.

There are still lockers with stuff in them. If your student needs to get items out of their locker please have them come to the school tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to clean them out. After that the lockers will be cleared out and all items put on the lost and found table until Friday, June 2nd.

Sanford Power is putting on a summer training program for HS & MS athletes. Weekly Tuesdays & Thursdays training will take place in New England. HS will train from 7-8:00am & MS will train from 8-9:00am. The cost per athlete for the summer is $175. There is also the option for additional training 9:00am @ DSU Mondays & Wednesdays.
If your athlete is interested, please let the school know ASAP so we can get a head count to Sanford Power.

The lost and found table still has a LOT of things left. Please stop in the school this week to get items, Anything not picked up by Friday, 5/26 will be disposed of.

Please join the staff and students as we celebrate the close of another school year tomorrow. Kindergarten graduation will be at 8:30 a.m. followed by the elementary awards. Awards for grades 7-12 will begin approximately at 10:00. The new members of the National Honor Society will be installed at about 10:45. We will be celebrating the retirement of four of our teachers at 11:15 a.m. with cake in the commons.
Parents are welcome to take their students home with them anytime in the morning, but please check out with their teachers and the front office. If your child rides the bus, please tell the driver of your plans as well. Buses will only run at 3:15 p.m. Students will not be permitted in the gyms or be allowed on the playground after 11:15 p.m. Wandering the hallways will also not be permitted.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, Band Night in Bismarck has been CANCELLED THIS EVENING, Friday, May 12, and will not be rescheduled. The students will not be back until around 7:00 or 8:00 this evening. An update will be provided when they leave Bismarck.

The 4th grade field trip is almost home just leaving Dickinson now. Should be at NEPS in about 30 minutes.

Band night parade begins at 6:30 p.m. CDT, this Friday in Bismarck. Please let Ms. Hewson know if your student is NOT riding the bus back to New England.

6th grade and High School Band: T-shirts are here for the marching band trip next week. Bring your $15 and take home your shirt.

Junior High Track will have their photos taken MONDAY before the meet at the BAC in Dickinson. You must return your order form and payment for your athlete by that date if you want the custom graphics and FREE SHIPPING. After Monday - it's only the order online option.
